Traditionally, Sony Interactive Entertainment opts to hold its own new conference before Tokyo Game Show. This year is no different. Sony will hold the 2016 PlayStation Press Conference on Tuesday, September 19 at 16:00 Japan Time. This will air at 15:00 Philippine Time, and you can catch it on YouTube. Stay tuned for more information after the conference!
That said, Sony has also announced several games slated for feature at their booth. Call of Duty: WWII, Detroit: Become Human, Gran Turismo Sport, Knack 2, and Itadaki Street Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary will be playable during the convention.
Third-party developers are also throwing full support behind the console giant.
Monster Hunter: World, the previously mentioned Code Vein, plus Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will get main stage features at the Sony stage. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, Earth Defense Force 5 and Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will also be playable on the PS4s of the Sony booth.
Playstation VR gets its own section of Sony’s booth.
The Japanese giant is bringing Gran Turismo Sport and No Heroes Allowed! VR. The FF faithful get to fish with Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV. Bethesda stretches the power of PSVR with Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR. And lastly, Bandai Namco introduces their third
waifu student in Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo Shiniciyou no Etude. If the second student, as seen below, was that good, imagine how pretty Chisato will be!
