TV Movie HBO

  • Agatha Christie’s Poirot: Curtain, Poirot’s Last Case
  • Bessie
  • Grace of Monaco
  • Hello Ladies: The Movie
  • Killing Jesus
  • Nightingale

Sean: “I don’t want to be too disparaging on this category, but Grace of Monaco? Really? That sad abortion of a biopic, which very quickly went from Oscar-bait to Lifetime Movie of the Week, just serves to just highlight how good The Weinstein Company is at campaigning for awards because they just gave this piece of shit a prestigious nomination.

DON’T MISS:  A 'MacGyver' Reboot in the Works! Plus Old-School TV Musings

Much more promising are the HBO entries, all of which are quite good and nicely highlight the considerable strengths of their lead actors. Finally, I really hope that the nomination for Agatha Christie’s Poirot encourages people to watch it since it’s quite good.”

Kim: “I had to curse in our Southeast Asian vernacular when I read that Grace of Monaco nomination. Harvey Weinstein, you clever bastard.

I’m surprised voters even know Hello Ladies even exists.”
