Sean: “Great choices, though I’m surprised by the inclusion of Episodes. At this point, I’m resigned to the fact that any nominations for Parks and Recreation in any category is a victory for it, even though it definitely deserved a nomination in this category for its perfect series finale.”

Kim: “I can’t believe they snubbed Michael Schur for “Ron and Leslie”. That was the best written episode in a season that was 90% perfect writing.

I really want to see “Alive in Tucson” take this one. While the Silicon Valley, Transparent, and Veep episodes were A+ quality, Last Man’s pilot was just something else. It reminded us that an old rare style of comedy is sadly missing from our sitcom landscape. Sure, it stars an American white guy, but the whole thing was universal, which makes it different.”

DON’T MISS:  ‘Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation’ is all shadows and spectacle
