  • Julie Bowen as Claire Dunphy on Modern Family
  • Anna Chlumsky as Amy Brookheimer on Veep
  • Gaby Hoffmann as Ali Pfefferman on Transparent
  • Allison Janney as Bonnie on Mom
  • Jane Krakowski as Jacqueline Voorhees on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
  • Kate McKinnon as Various Characters on Saturday Night Live
  • Niecy Nash as Denise “Didi” Ortley on Getting On

Sean: “Inarguably the most crowded (and strongest) category, Supporting Actress has such a strong set of nominees that it’s difficult to complain, but if we must: I would have liked to see any of the women from Parks and Recreation among the nominees, and it’s strange that none of the supporting actors or actresses on that show never got nominated.

DON’T MISS:  MARS: Are You Ready to Colonize the Red Planet?

Probably the best surprise would be the nomination for Niecy Nash, who’s been one of the most reliably funny people in TV and also happens to be very deserving.”

Kim: “Chris Pratt probably doesn’t care about that anymore for obvious reasons. While Season 7 of Parks and Recreation was so emotional and got to mine perfect takes from its entire cast, I’m not sure if Aubrey Plaza deserved a nomination. Retta definitely did though.”
