We all know Jared Leto, right? The actor, 30 Seconds to Mars Frontman, owner of a glorious ombre mane and beard combination? We also know that he’s playing the Joker in the Suicide Squad live action film.

Seeing the image that Suicide Squad director David Ayer posted earlier was enough to earn a bit of a wide-eyed stare at the screen for a bit.

Imagine our reactions when we saw that he’d cut off said glorious ombre’d mane.

If we couldn’t see Jared Leto playing the Clown Prince of Crime before, we definitely can now. We can also see that he kind of looks like Michael Fassbender sans hair and beard. Hopefully we’ll get to see cast photos in-costume in the next few months.

The Suicide Squad film will be the third feature for the DC Cinematic Universe and will be released in 2016. Jared is joined by Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevigne as the Enchantress and the unflappable Viola Davis as Amanda Waller herself.
