New Character Announced for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator

In this week’s Famitsu issue, we were treated with a new character reveal for the console release of the update to 2014’s (and one of my Top 10 Games of last yearGuilty Gear Xrd -sign-Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator.

SO! Gouken’s in Guilty Gear now! I kid, but come on, this guy looks almost exactly like Gouken from Street Fighter. Anyway…

So far, all we know so far about the character is that: a) the character is a newcomer to the series, b) the character is named Kum Haehyun, and c) the character is actually the lady INSIDE the old man (who turns out, is a robot).

DON’T MISS:  Megaman Legends 3 Lives!

Purely based on how the character looks, my guess is that Kum is gonna be a grappler character archetype. Knowing Arc System Works, they’re gonna add their own twist to the “character class”, especially since Potemkin already fills-out that role within the cast of characters.

Personally, I’m all for new characters introduced to the series. I mean we already have both Johnny and Jam returning as playable characters in Revelator, and I’m always for adding completely new characters to the cast. BUT, FFS Arc System Works, Dizzy won the character poll; can we PLEASE have an official release date and screens of her being in Revelator already?!?!

DON’T MISS:  'Witcher 3' Official Grass Patch Released!

Anyway, I’m looking forward to playing Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator in 2016. It’s expected to be released on consoles (both the PS4 and PS3) in Spring of this year.
