In Cinemas: January 27-February 2, 2016

It’s a busy week for local cinemas as a total of 7 new films are premiering this week! If you don’t know what to watch this week, here is our handy little guide to help you plan ahead!

  1. 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

Premise: Based on the true story, an American security team must respond to an attack on a US compound in Libya, which left an ambassador dead.

Cast: John Krasinski (The Office, Arrested Development), James Badge Dale (The Departed), Max Martini (Saving Private Ryan)

Director: Michael Bay (Transformers, Pearl Harbor)

2. Brooklyn

Premise: A young woman from Ireland is torn between a life in America and a life in her hometown.

Director: John Crowley (Boy A, Intermission)

3. Everything About Her

Premise: A caregiver struggles with her new client, a powerful businesswoman prone to treating the people around her badly.

Cast: Angel Locsin (Mulawin), Xian Lim (My Binondo Girl), Vilma Santos (Bata Bata Paano Ka Ginawa?, Dekada ’70)

Director: Bb. Joyce Bernal (Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, Kimmy Dora: Kambal sa Kiyeme)
